Submitting to Journals

I am currently in the process of submittinng two papers to several journals. Most of them require that I use the ExpressO system for submission. It is very useful because it reduces transaction costs - otherwise, we would have to take the time to submit to each journal separately. That is great, of course. In my experience, however, most of the journals I choose for submission never come back to me. That is a very frustrating feeling. Shouldn´t journals take author´s submissions more seriously?
