I wish I could have attended this debate, hosted by the Federalist Society at the University of Virginia School of Law, between David Fontana and Neomi Rao on the use of foreign law in domestic courts. I've been told by one person in attendance that it was a very spirited, interesting, and quite useful discussion about is today, and is likely to remain tomorrow, a deeply controversial issue.
