It would be normally funny if not for its real-life consequences. But things like this continue to confound me. According to TPM news, Tennessee Lt. Gov. Ron Ramsey, running in the primary to become the Republican contender for the governorship, says he's not sure if Constitutional guarantees of freedom of religion apply to Muslims.
That, and the recent controversy about building a mosque near Ground Zero makes me wonder if we're back to the Middle Ages. At least Jon Stewart speaks out.
