Friends

The Police chief of the German city of Nuremberg is a good friend. Last week a friend of his was stopped by police supected of DUI. She was in a very good mood and greeted officers with what seems to be an old children’s song. The police officers conducted a preliminary drug test, took her to the police station and wanted to do a blood test when, in the middle of the night, the city’s police chief walked in. The girl had called him and introduced him as ‚this is the good friend I was talking about’. The girl left the police station without the required blood test. The papers soon took onto the story. Now the police chief is facing charges and will probably be removed from office. I wish I could represent the DA's office in this case. I would charge him with obstruction of justice. He could make so much more friends in jail.
